The Little Lives Fundraising Appeal aims to raise £250,000 to expand the hospital’s Neonatal Unit, which looks after babies who are born too early, or with serious medical conditions.

The Trust cares for over 350 neonatal babies each year. But the demand for our specialist services is growing. The hospital currently has 18 cots (to deliver intensive and special care), and plans to add a further four high dependency cots. A complete refurbishment is needed to enable the hospital to increase capacity to 21 cots, and allow equipment to be upgraded.
