| 1. The Treatment Centre. Our £12M centre for day and extended day surgery was opened in 2004. It has proved popular with patients and staff. Its distinctive shape and colour have become a familiar part of the hospital skyline. | |
| 2. Milton Keynes has large gardens, landscape areas and courtyards. The restaurant courtyard is a haven of peace and quiet for patients and visitors. | |
| 3. The Treatment Centre interior is as distinctive as the exterior. This is the patient lounge. | |
| 4. The Treatment Centre reception and waiting areas are naturally lit and contain a number of original art works. | |
| 5. The Treatment Centre has eight individual rooms. For patients who want that extra privacy, four are available as ‘amenity’ rooms subject to clinical needs. | |
| 6. There are no wards in the Treatment Centre, but beds are grouped in rooms of four with full en-suite facilities. | |
| 7. Wards in the main part of the hospital are light and airy with most wards having bays of six beds. This is Ward 21, our orthopaedic ward. | |
| 8. The Main Entrance. The hospital was opened in 1984 and as you can see has an individual look to it. | |
| 9. This is something most of our patients do not see! One of our twelve operating theatres. | |
| 10. This theatre is one of two ‘laminar flow’ theatres which provide ultra clean conditions for orthopaedic operations. | |
